Philosophy
The Danville Inferno owners, coaches and front office staff are dedicated to the on and off ice development ofthe young men that step through our doors. We feel our values as an organization will allow us to positively impact the growth ofthese young men. The Danville Inferno program is a stepping stone for players, We are here to help develop young men who are not quite ready for or haven't found the best fit for themselves at the Tier 3 Jr. A level.
Our Commitment
Because we exist to develop athletes, we invest our energies into improving each player on our roster over the course of a full season (unless they are called up to the next level earlier); When players commit to our code of conduct and to working hard to improve, we commit to keep them in our organization throughout the season, regardless of player performance. This allows players to enroll in classes without worry of losing college tuition money if they would be dropped or traded; it also gives them a tremendous feeling of freedom to work on areas that need fine-tuning and experiment with new skills.
Our players report in August and will be together through March playoffs, creating a family atmosphere and deep friendships. Although it is a simple principle, we commit to treating each other the way we would want our loved ones to be treated, beginning with honesty and with valuing each person independent of his hockey performance.
What We Offer You, The Player
The Danville Inferno offer the following to every player.
- 4 days per week on ice practice
- 2 days per week off ice conditioning
- MotorCoach travel to all road games
- Hotel Rooms on all road trips
- Some meals while on road trips
- Gloves, Pant Shells, Practice and Game Jerseys, Equipment Bag, Practice and Game Socks, and Travel Jackets
- Avenues to move up to the Jr. A level. We currently have affiliations with the Queen City Steam (CSHL) and the Tulsa Rampage (WSHL)
- Coaching staff and ownership dedicated to your development on and off the ice
