Kentner’s dream is fulfilled
DANVILLE — Growing up, Zane Kentner couldn’t get enough of being around the ice.
If he wasn’t skating and learning how to play hockey, he blended into the crowd of young kids at the David S. Palmer Arena looking up to the players fortunate enough to wear the Danville Wings logo on their chest.

Inferno is ignited
DANVILLE — Back in 2004, Cameron Estes claimed that hockey was not dead in Danville.
Four years after the Danville Wings flew the coop, Estes is bringing a junior hockey team back to the David S. Palmer Arena.

Danville Inferno Jr. Hockey Releases 08-09 Ticketing InformationDanville, IL- The Danville Inferno Junior Hockey Team is pleased to announce their schedule, season ticket pricing and individual game pricing for the 2008-2009 season. The Inferno will host 21 home games during their inaugural season at the Palmer Arena. The season starts Saturday September 6th against the Chicago Huskies and wraps up Saturday February 28th against the Michigan Ice Dogs. Season Tickets prices will be $105 for Adults and $73.50 for Children (6-16) and Seniors (over 60).
Season Tickets will go on sale Tuesday July 15. As a special promotion if you buy Early Bird Adult Season Tickets between Tuesday July 15th and Thursday July 31st they will be $94.50. "We want to be affordable and with our regular price tickets we feel we are just that, but we wanted to offer our fans a special incentive for getting in early so if you buy Season Tickets in the first 2 weeks you get an even bigger discount then our regular season ticket price", says General Manager Cameron Estes. Individual Game Tickets will go on sale Friday August 15th, the regular per game tickets are $6 Adults and $4 Children (6-16) and Seniors (over 60). All seats are reserved so fans can ask for their favorite seats for each game. Special Event Nights will be announced in the near future.
